Introduction
Padlet has eight different sharing modes. According to different topics, you can choose the appropriate mode freely. For example, when talking about history, you can choose the Timeline timeline mode, when talking about geography, you can choose the Map map mode, and when you need to classify, you can use the Shelf bookshelf mode. I use more Stream and Wall modes.
How to use it
The "Padlet" is very easy to use. After free registration, most of the functions of the website have a Chinese interface.
The first step is to choose one from the eight kanban formats we want to use.
Or you can directly apply the many work templates provided by "Padlet", depending on whether you want to collect image inspiration, bookmark web pages, discuss questions, organize information, create processes, etc., there are corresponding templates that can be applied.
Before preparing to create a "Padlet" board, we can also choose a good-looking wallpaper to make the board more interesting
The next step is to add new cards to the board. At this time, you can insert image and video files, web page hyperlinks, maps, drawings, or enter text content.
Pros
Free whiteboard for kids to draw on
Simple and useful Kanban format that can be liberally dragged
Anonymous way to keep kids' privacy secret
Cons
First of all, it requires that everyone in the classroom takes the mobile phone which seems unlikely to happen in China.
I tried Padlet once, and it demands that teachers have a great ability to hold them with us but not be attracted by phone.
Any more info
You can choose a different sharing method for the final sorted Kanban, or the half sorted Kanban. The default is "Only visible to those who know the URL".
But you can also change it to be completely private, or make it public for more people to view and edit.
